Invoicing & Payroll
Invoicing can be done right through your Quickbooks Online (QBO) file.
Whether invoicing for rents or business services QBO is efficient. Invoices are easily generated. They can be printed and mailed or sent via email through QBO. Emailed invoices create an easy payment solution for your clients. They can click "Pay Invoice", enter their bank account or credit card information and pay the invoice directly from their email. The funds will arrive in your account within 5 days. Both options have a fee however those fees are often worth it to maintain good records.
I have a client with multiple rental properties and invoices are generated monthly on the 25th for him. It has worked like a charm. Prior to my implementing this my client was using something that worked but was confusing and difficult to track. Now I can type in the tenants name and all the rent charges and payments are listed. No confusion.
Another client has annual contracts. The invoices are sent out on the 15th of each month and while multiple invoices are for the exact same amount the process runs smoothly.
For payroll services I partner with Gusto for usual business payroll. For people with in-home employees, Nannies, Caregivers and the like, I use Care.com.
